I am a storyteller who is lucky enough to find herself in situations and circumstances where characters open themselves up to interpretation; thus becoming players in stories conjured and conjectured in the readers’ minds.  I am an opportunistic scribe whose stories are generated of, by and for auspicious moments, with the hope that there is a broader narrative to be inferred from a singular moment.

I do not necessarily have lofty or meaningful goals; rather, I aim to entertain, report and showcase our imperfections as human beings.  Straightforward and simple.  Nothing is accidental after all.  I am a poet and writer at heart. With a background in philosophy and literature, I have always held a deep interest in the human condition.  It follows then that I allude to the archetypes of the street: the defeated, the successful; the innocent, the artist; the everyday extraordinary.  I am preoccupied by the “fringe” of society who lend themselves completely and courageously to our (those of us in the “middle”) imagination.

I intend to spotlight the people that you meet and other stories.  Everybody and everything becomes an unwitting character, woven into the fabric of our own stories.  There is at times the fantastic and at others the mundane; ultimately, my hope is that my stories become the mirror held up to ourselves, reflecting back the things we may have missed, and the things we need to see.
